About Amy Cattanach

As the Shared Research Facilities Business Manager, I am thrilled to oversee the operational management of the SRF. My role encompasses operational administration, financial planning, and the delivery of strategic objectives to ensure the long-term sustainability of our facilities. Working closely with the Head of Facilities and Technical Leads, I establish and implement frameworks to enhance and manage the performance of our operations, ensuring we deliver world-leading science. I take great pride in leading the financial administration of the SRF, coordinating strategic funding applications, and supporting the development of new opportunities through events, marketing, and conferences. Ensuring excellent communication and a positive user experience is at the heart of what I do. Additionally, I am responsible for reviewing, developing, and implementing systems and procedures to collate impact data and information, supporting the SRF's mission. My ultimate goal is to ensure that our operations and procedures are robust, enabling the SRF to support and drive the groundbreaking research taking place in MVLS.
