About Amy Connery

I am an assistant professor at the Clinical Speech and Language Studies department at Trinity College Dublin. I have over ten years of clinical experience working with children with communication needs in Primary Care and disability settings in Ireland. I have also completed a structured PhD at the University of Limerick (UL). My research co-designed an intervention for adults who stutter using a multi-stakeholder approach. I have taught Stuttering and Clinical Reasoning modules for the MSc Speech and language Therapy course at UL. I currently teach a range of modules on the BSc Clinical Speech and Language Studies course at TCD, relating to stuttering, speech sound disorders, research design and reflective studies. I have published in peer-reviewed journals and have presented my research at multiple national and international conferences.
