About Amy Conway

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated licensed K-6 Elementary Education Teacher with a driving force to teach students how to thrive in the 21st Century. Valuable attributes include, but are not limited to: excellent communicator, creative, flexible, patient, nurturing, team player, detail-oriented and successful in a variety of teaching experiences. Currently I am teaching 3rd Grade in Northfield, MN. In 2015-16 I was a.5 Teacher at Diamond Path Elementary Magnet School of International Studies as an Academic Coach for Literacy and Math. In addition, I am also part-time substitute teacher for ISD # 196, ISD # 192 and ISD # 194. My teaching license is valid until 2019 and I continue my professional learning such as graduate credits through St. Mary's University, Yoga Calm Program, Kindergarten Endorsement through St. Kate's as well as various classes for integrating technology into the classroom. My experiences while working as a Substitute Teacher, Long-Term Substitute Teacher, and a Literacy and Math Academic Coach have intensified my passion to continue in my teaching career. Working with children has always been part of my life. Whether it was volunteering with the Literacy Leaps program, working as a Certified Youth Fitness Coach with Stretch-n-Grow of Dakota County, running Amy's Little Explorers family child care business, or working as a Preschool Teacher, helping children has always been my passion.
