About Amy Couper

High-performing, published research professional with half a decades experience in the field of life sciences and public health. Coupling this experience with my passion for scientific communications, I am committed to making research not only accessible but engaging. Using data insights, I craft impactful communications that translate complex concepts into compelling messages that convey meaning and value. Whether it’s through writing press articles, developing corporate presentations, or creating social media content, I can distill research into narratives that resonate with audiences of all backgrounds, from the general public through to industry experts. With a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, my particular areas of interest include molecular biology, respiratory medicine and pharmaceuticals. Beyond the technical however, I adopt a result-driven and collaborative approach to delivering projects. As a research collaborator, establishing new partnerships and fostering existing relationships is at the heart of what I do. By regularly connecting with not only my team but with external sponsors and stakeholders, I am able to approach challenges and communicate resolutions collaboratively, to ultimately drive projects forward. Working with industry partners and academic groups, the results of these projects have been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. When I’m not immersed in work, you can often find me on the water, boating or scuba diving.
