About Amy Dawes

My favourite book when I was at school was To Kill a Mockingbird. My favourite programme, Desperate Housewives.I have 3 passions that I hope lead me to my career, Law, Fashion and Photography.I grew up in a small town where opportunities were limited and judgement was a given. I chose to pursue Law because I knew I wanted to make a difference, just like Atticus Finch. The eye-opening knowledge I have gained into the injustice, rife across the world, has driven my desire to positively impact the system during working life.Ever since I started my university journey, I have been given the chance to express myself in a way I see true to me, through Fashion. It isn’t easy to be yourself in a little community where everyone knows everyone.Photography started off as more of a hobby to me when I got my first camera in 2018. That camera sparked a joy in me I didn’t know was possible and now I am inseparable from it. I am hopeful to find a career somewhere I can build upon the strengths I already possess, intertwine these passions and strive in a city environment.
