I am the Founder of Aureus Advantage, a wealth transformation consortium dedicated to empowering firms to thrive through M&A, integration, platform transformation, and wealth tech innovation. Additionally, I serve as a Venture Partner at Thicket Ventures where I work with leading institutions in financial services and wealthtech founders with early concepts that have the potential to transform the financial services industry. With decades of experience in wealth management and wealth tech, I have built and led multiple multi-billion-dollar wealth firms, designed enterprise wealth platforms, and gained deep expertise in every facet of the wealth advisory business. My career includes high-impact roles Barclays and BlackRock, where I honed my expertise in product creation and institutional asset management. At Focus Financial Partners, I managed over 50 M&A transactions, co-authored the M&A playbook, and helped optimize partner firms by enhancing their people, processes, and platforms. As Chief Experience Officer at Connectus Wealth Advisers (Focus Financial Partners’ corporate wealth firm), I led the firm’s global launch, integrated M&A transactions, and designed a wealth platform that contributed to AUM growth from zero to $13 billion in less than three years.
