Teaching English has helped me connect with and learn from people from around the world. My favourite thing about the work I do is that it is not restricted to subject matter, meaning that I utter the words, “I didn’t know that!” at least once a day. As well as teaching online, I also make my own digital lesson plans and materials that foster practical speaking skills in adult learners. I’m passionate about pliable skills-based education which can be adapted for an open and equitable learning environment. Apart from travel, my interests include, but are not limited to; music, drawing occasionally, watching documentaries, and various complicated relationships with Duolingo.
