About Amy Doherty

Amy founded Amy Doherty Events (ADE) in 2015 with the goal of sharing best event fundraising practices with mission-driven teams everywhere. She wanted to not only deliver high quality event management to her clients, but also leverage the knowledge and experience gained throughout her twenty-year career in non-profit development. She has worked alongside and learned from some of the best fundraisers in the country and has planned hundreds of events ranging from intimate cocktail receptions and private dinners to galas in donors’ homes and first-class venues. She has worked closely with senior leadership and volunteers to organize regional events in locations such as Palm Beach, New York City, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Amy has also built strategic and successful charity programs associated with the Boston Marathon, Falmouth Road Race, Pan-Mass Challenge as well as independent community fundraisers, ultimately increasing overall fundraising revenue while strengthening its event mission. Amy’s true passion lies within the big picture planning and detailed execution of signature and stewardship events and programs that bring supporters and prospects closer to the core of an organization’s cause.
