About Amy Eberlin

I am a dedicated and experienced quality assurance and enhancement professional with extensive knowledge of the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish tertiary education sectors. As Nations Enhancement Manager, I am responsible for managing the strategic direction and operational delivery of QAA's enhancement activity across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. I work closely with QAA's Membership Delivery, Public Affairs and Policy, and Quality and Standards Teams to ensure that voices of the devolved nations inform the work that we do as an Agency. I previously spent five years in the QAA Scotland team, leading the Enhancement Themes, Scotland's previous national enhancement programme for Scottish HEIs, and developing Scotland's Tertiary Enhancement Programme (STEP). I have extensive experience of quality assurance and enhancement within Scotland's tertiary education sector from my time as a Quality Enhancement Specialist and then Quality Enhancement Manager at QAA. Before QAA I managed the quality assurance and enhancement processes of a Scottish university, and led the democracy and research initiatives of a Scottish students' union. I am committed to supporting the tertiary education sectors of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to deliver the best learning experience for students.
