Background

About Amy Ellard-Gray

I have a PhD in Applied Social Psychology with a focus on equity and social justice, and I am a Certified Canadian Inclusion Professional (candidate) with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion. I am dedicated to research, evaluation, and planning work that builds community and contributes to a more sustainable future. I have extremely strong leadership and project management skills, with equally strong research and evaluation skills. I am experienced in a wide range of topic areas and a wide array of methodologies. I live in Guelph, Ontario, which is situated on Between the Lakes (no. 3) Treaty Land. This is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation of the Anishinaabek Peoples. I am thankful to live on this land where my wife and I raise our two young children. We are gardeners of food and of native plants, advocates of keeping backyard chickens, DIY specialists, and believers in the power of community.
