About Amy Figueroa

I am an industrious professional with over 20 years of combined experience in the technology industry, including implementing data center co-location projects, wireless E911 engineering, and telecommunications. Partnered with my customer service background, is geared towards putting people first, being a champion for equity, leadership, sustainability and striving for greatness. My attention to detail combined with backgrounds in management, auditing, and technology drive me to constantly seek to optimize tools and processes at QTS. Doing this helps our team perform with greater efficacy. Additionally, I stay ahead of the curve by maximizing the quantity of projects implemented monthly while managing deadlines so that the common goal of revenue recognition is expeditiously accomplished. As a member of our diversity leadership committee we strive to raise awareness and create a culture of inclusion and belonging for all that includes activities with a strong focus on equity. On my in-office days I enjoy leading yoga classes for my colleagues to promote camaraderie, and a sense of caring for each other. At AT & T I facilitated the Next Generation deployment of approximately 100 PSAPs ahead of schedule. I expertly used call query tools to remotely trace E911 test calls and guarantee the success of the projects. During my tenure I also facilitated maintaining FCC compliance for the Georgia market. At Nortel Networks, I managed small to large fiber optic network projects while overseeing the Qwest Communications account (now AT & T) and I developed a WBS template as well as a metrics database for the PMO. I served as team leader on a pro tem basis where I was able to strategically evaluate and revise processes, and train new staff. My skills have also been utilized to perform software upgrades across multiple technologies in the telecommunications arena, to various elements on AT & T's network. I have managed large to small scale projects and have a penchant for troubleshooting and learning new systems, tools and technologies. I have used Service Now, Salesforce, Clarizen and Remedy systems along with recently taking the time to learn Jira and Asana.
