About Amy Glancy

With over 10 years of teaching experience, I am currently a teacher at Julian Charter School, where I design and deliver engaging and personalized learning experiences for diverse students. I also collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum standards and assessments, as well as provide professional development and mentoring. Previously, I was a 4th grade teacher at High Tech High and a language arts teacher at Diegueno Country School, where I fostered a student-centered and project-based learning environment, integrating technology and creativity. I have skills in instructional design, curriculum development, staff development, and PowerPoint, which I have enhanced through multiple certifications from LinkedIn. I have a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from California State University San Marcos, where I learned how to apply effective leadership and management strategies in educational settings. I am passionate about creating meaningful and inclusive learning opportunities for all students, and I strive to continuously improve my teaching practice and impact.
