About Amy Goodman

After always knowing I was going to be in the education world, I studied Elementary education in college and received a MA in STEM education. My five years of teaching in the classroom were a joy, but I also found myself pulled into and falling in love with the world of educational technology. I experimented with and implemented different platforms and assisted colleagues in doing the same in a formal and informal capacity. In the end, I realized that this was the world I wanted to be in. So I made the jump into educational technology. As the primary Professional Development Specialist in the North East at Imagine Learning, I empower educators to adopt and integrate K-12 technology programs into their classrooms. I also collaborate with school leaders, academic coaches, and educators to design and deliver customized web based synchronous, asynchronous and blended, as well as onsite, training and coaching that meet their needs. But what I really do is listen. I listen to the needs of my customers, the challenges happening in the education world right now and what they say they need to be successful. My next step is taking my personal experience as a teacher and my experience working with educators around the country to create products that teachers and students love that also bring value to their instructional cycle and practices.
