About Amy Gray

As a certified and experienced infection preventionist, I have dedicated my career to ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance in the hospital and healthcare industry. I have successfully led and implemented infection prevention practices, education, and projects across multiple settings and levels of care, from rural to urban, from small to large, and from acute to long-term. Most recently, I served as the Director of Infection Prevention at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital, where I oversaw the infection prevention program, policies, and procedures for the 257-bed facility. I also collaborated with state and local agencies, as well as the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN), to report and monitor infection data and trends. Additionally, I applied my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt skills to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve outcomes. I am currently looking for a new opportunity to leverage my skills and expertise in infection prevention and healthcare quality.
