About Amy Gray

I'm a leader in Community Based Organizations doing Arts Education. I've worked for two decades in the Education now Learning Department of the Portland Art Museum and have been with Arts in Education of the Gorge for ten years, currently as incoming Executive Director. At the museum, I trained volunteers and tour guides and worked closely with teachers and school staff. In my role as Director of Programs for Arts in Education of the Gorge I planned and implemented camps and classes for youth and adults, Professional Development for Teaching Artists and was responsible for several scheduling/logistical and administrative tasks. I have been a board member for the following non-profits: Friendly House in NW Portland, The Mount Hood Town Hall, Hood River Library Foundation and CONLA; Cabin Owners of Northwestern Lake. I have served as program partner or treasurer. I am currently enrolled at PSU, in the LSE Program, Leadership in Sustainability Education M.A. and am the outgoing Executive Director at Grace Institute where I’ve been running summer and spring break and winter break camps for four years.
