I’m the national energy correspondent for Axios. I’ve been covering energy and climate for more than 15 years. I am also currently the inaugural journalism fellow for the University of Chicago's new Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth. In this non-resident role, I am host of the Shocked podcast and moderate events on campus during the 2025-2026 school year.
