About Amy J Doherty

As a communications professional with deep experience in independent schools and nonprofit organizations, I thrive at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and community engagement. I am passionate about crafting marketing initiatives that not only enhance brand visibility but also build connections among faculty, staff, colleagues, and the larger community. Whether developing compelling narratives that highlight a nonprofit's mission and impact, collaborating on leadership content, or executing digital campaigns that drive enrollment and engagement, I bring a thoughtful and creative approach to every project. With a strong foundation in content creation, partnership building, and strategic messaging, I am dedicated to amplifying the voices and values of the institutions I serve. Beyond my professional work, I’m also a creative writer. My past publications include essays and short fiction, and I’m currently working on a collection of short stories that explore themes of resilience, identity, and the unexpected moments that shape us.
