About Amy Kenwell

Ms. Kenwell is a Project Geologist in Geosyntec's Charlotte, North Carolina Office. She has experience conducting and leading contaminated site assessment and remediation projects. Ms. Kenwell manages projects under a variety of regulatory programs including the Registered Environmental Consultant (REC) program, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Brownfields program, and Solid Waste Management. Ms. Kenwell’s experience includes delineating site contamination, analyzing site geochemistry and groundwater flow, designing remedial approaches, creating 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional data visualizations, and sampling of a variety of media. Ms. Kenwell has authored work plans, remedial investigation reports, remedial action plans, and other technical documents. Prior to joining Geosyntec, Ms. Kenwell gained experience in environmental consulting during four internships which included field work and office tasks in the disciplines of hydrogeology, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and engineering geology. She completed both an undergraduate and an M.S. graduate thesis, both of which focused on geochemical characterization of soils.
