Up until recently I was the Principal Environment Officer, working with a brilliant team on rivers and coasts for Noosa Shire Council.I have experience working in research institutions, member-based organisations, Australian state and Federal government agencies, and the media.Strategic stakeholder liaison is central to many professional roles and my experience includes building networks and managing relationships with politicians and the public service, land managers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and leaders, researchers, policy makers, surgeons and other health professionals, students, special interest groups, the media and the general public.Other experience includes developing strategic plans and briefing politicians, managing programs and projects, developing advocacy and communications strategies, organising events and workshops, and delivering a community awareness and development program.
