About Amy Koski

With over twenty years of experience in clinical trials management and research coordination, I am a passionate advocate for creating the bridge between scientific advancement and patient choice. I lead the operational efforts for the complete lifecycle of of drug, device, and investigator initiated clinical trials within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine Clinical Trials Unit- Knight Cardiovascular Institute at Oregon Health & Science University. My in-depth understanding of laboratory science, regulatory agencies, and complex ethical frameworks enables me to support the development, execution, and delivery of clinical studies in accordance with the clinical development plan, strategy, budget, and operational timelines. I work closely with internal and external cross-functional teams to support the ground-breaking clinical research happening at KCVI that allows patients to choose from a new portfolio of experimental medical options. I am an active and compassionate communicator, a project manager, a public speaker, a fundraiser, and a scientific and ethical writer, with specialties in genetics, GCP, management, grants, budgeting, publications, and most importantly - party planning. My mission is to keep scientific progress moving and to empower patients to seek access to individualized treatments and cures, not yet approved or discovered.
