About Amy L. Showalter

Analytical, creative, community-focused professional with an eye for context and connection. I excel at identifying the details that shape the big picture. As an environmental educator, I learned ‘everything is connected,’ and that sustainable systems gain strength from many parts, each molded through their relationships and interactions. My experience in low-income home repair, outdoor education, nonprofit administration, academia, and planning, has centered on people and reiterated the importance of engaging cultural frameworks to support healthy ecosystems in which individuals and communities thrive. Collaborative processes, holistic communication, resource identification, opportunity creation, conservation, equitable policy, and sustainable (eco)systems are among my professional passions. Experience: problem-solving, community and network engagement, partnership development, strategic movement, project management, social justice work, sense of humor, quickly learning and utilizing new tools/technology, team leadership, training and development, grant writing and management, policy, data collection and analysis, business operations, SharePoint, Salesforce (CRM), social media
