About Amy Lam

With 14 years of educational teaching experience, I am passionate about developing individuals through creating learning experiences to maximise their learning potential. Formally trained in Early Childhood profession and currently holding a Bachelor of Teaching degree (ACECQA approved), and Teacher accredited by NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). I have worked in multidisciplinary environments such as Long Day Care, Out Of School Hours Care (OOSHC), Independent Preschool and Early Learning Centres which has allowed me to develop my skill set as an Early Childhood professional to provide high quality educational programs to children. Strengths include an extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of; • Developmental stages of early childhood and theoretical pedagogical practice, • Planning, designing, implementing and facilitating individual/group learning, • Integrating the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Reggio Emilia approaches, and the National Quality Framework (NQF) into everyday practices and inquiry learning • Leadership and management (2IC and Acting Director placements) • Communication • Collaboration and team based approach
