The discipline, resilience, and courage I learned as a competitive athlete continue to shape how I collaborate with people and the organizations they work for in order to help them thrive. My 20+ year career in Human Resources, Sales, and Communications is grounded in the same principles that have defined my time on the ice and in the boat. Blades-on-the-Ice As a competitive figure skater, I built grit, focus, and self-reliance, qualities that continue to drive my professional and personal growth. Southwestern Regional Figure Skating Championships, Gold Medalist, Intermediate Ladies Oars-in-the-Water As a coxswain for both men’s and women’s rowing teams, I learned how to motivate and steer teams toward shared goals, and execute with precision under pressure. Royal Canadian Henley Regatta, Triple Gold Medalist, Women’s Club Lightweight Eight, Lightweight Four, and Lightweight Dash Boots-on-the-Ground The lessons I learned both on the ice and in the boat laid the foundation for my impact in the business world, helping organizations align people, culture, and strategy with performance. I’m passionate about building work environments where individuals thrive, teams connect, and the desired results follow. Giving Back I remain active in both figure skating and rowing, mentoring newer athletes and supporting alumni programs that celebrate teamwork, perseverance, and community. Whether guiding emerging professionals or developing leaders, I am committed to giving back the same encouragement and feedback that has helped me move forward, both in life and in business.
