About Amy Loder

As a key player in the delivery of Market Wide Half-Hourly Settlements (MHHS), I am at the helm of a market-wide transformation that represents the most significant shake-up in the UK energy industry since privatisation. With sustainability at its core, this reform is poised to redefine how energy is consumed, measured, and managed across the UK. Leveraging my expertise in environmental law and project management, I am driving the strategic implementation of MHHS—aligning innovation with environmental responsibility to deliver tangible impact. My academic foundation from the University of South Africa, with a specialization in Environmental Law, underpins my deep-rooted commitment to sustainable development. By orchestrating cross-functional teams and engaging key stakeholders, I am ensuring the delivery of a smarter, data-driven, and more agile energy market. This transformative initiative is not only enhancing operational efficiency but accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy—reshaping the future of energy in the UK.
