I am a Business and Technology Executive with over 20 years of experience in financial markets. Throughout my career I have frequently been charged with leading new initiatives to take the company or department beyond the bounds of current activities or systems. As a business leader who knows how to lead from principle and respect-based influence bringing a mix of experience, domain knowledge, and sound judgment, I am able to move fluidly from the big picture to details supporting delivery of complex cross-functional initiatives. I have served as a strategic coordinator across business units, teams, and geographies building trust across the company. I have held numerous leadership positions in risk management, product management, and compliance in the financial services industry. Most recently as Head of Market Risk at OCC, I oversee the teams responsible for Market Risk, Pricing, Margining, Default Management and Liquidity Risk at the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization. I have extensive experience working with technology teams in financial services with very different mandates from low-latency trading engines to financial surveillance teams reconstructing historical trading books to machine learning for fraud detection. I have a proven track record of identifying and mentoring future leaders and have the ability to recruit and retain talent.
