About Amy Pearson
I am an Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology at Durham University and a core member of the Centre for Neurodiversity & Development. My work focuses on understanding factors which impact on positive outcomes among autistic and neurodivergent people across the lifespan, including interpersonal relationships and identity. In 2023, I was awarded the Rosalind Franklin Society Award in Science for my research on the experience of interpersonal abuse among autistic people. I am co Editor-in-Chief of the journal ‘Neurodiversity’ and an Editor for the journal 'Autism in Adulthood'.
