About Amy Pedotto

My passion is making good things happen. Articulating and promoting data-driven research to guide public policy grounded in social justice. Developing community-based programs to help children and families. Securing resources to support public health and community development programs in disadvantaged countries. As Executive Director at the Grand Canyon Institute, I work to ensure that Arizonans have access to non-partisan, evidence-based research to inform policymakers, the media, and the public on important issues facing Arizona. Here’s how – Communication – I turn evidence-based research into accessible information that enables Arizonans to fully understand the economic, societal, and fiscal impact of their votes. Strategy – I develop actionable strategies to communicate the public policy findings and recommendations the result from the Grand Canyon Institute’s research. Business development – I help to develop partnerships to support and amplify the Grand Canyon Institute’s public policy research and initiatives. Project management – I coordinate key aspects of the Grand Canyon Institute’s operations to support its capacity as an independent, nonpartisan research organization. Relationship building – I help connect and find common ground enabling productive conversations and better policy with stakeholders.
