About Amy Robertaccio

I was promoted to the newly created position of Director of Human Resources within 6 months of working with my current employer. Since becoming Director in 2008, I have built the HR Department from the ground up, creating an on-boarding process, progressive discipline policy and performance improvement plans, an exit interview process and questionnaires, and many other processes and policies. This has not only improved the agency and supervisory teams as a whole, but has also greatly contributed to the morale and retention of current staff. I thoroughly enjoy helping people work to their fullest potential, utilizing their strengths. I strive to empower other employees and supervisors to resolve conflicts appropriately so they can continue on in their positions with minimal disruption and discord. Employees who feel appreciated and heard are happy employees! In 2014, I was invited to serve on the board of directors of the agency and was elected secretary of the board. I have appreciated the trust appointed to me in this position and have grown in my knowledge of ESOP's in general. I enjoy being part of a team that makes decisions to help strengthen and move the agency forward in a fiscally sound manner. Previous experience includes eight years working with children with autism. Experience in the administrative field includes positions as a Merchandising Assistant, Executive Administrative Assistant and Human Resource Assistant Manager. I also served on a local school board for a three-year term.
