Amy Roter is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the State of New Jersey. After earning her first Masters in Teaching at Teachers College, Amy returned to school for a second Masters in Community Counseling at Montclair State University. From there she interned at Stepping Forward, LLC, and Intensive Outpatient program for children and adolescents. Shortly thereafter, she moved from the classroom at Livingston High School to the In School Suspension room where she helped students with de-escalation techniques and emotional support, triaging with the other counselors in the building.
