My professional background is defined by a versatile and proven ability to engage with people and solve problems. My diverse experience, from military service to a variety of customer-facing and management roles, has honed my skills in everything from managing complaints to providing specialist support. I've learned how to quickly understand different perspectives, de-escalate difficult situations, and translate complex information into clear and actionable messages. Now, as a member of the communications and engagement team for the Havant Thicket Reservoir, I am applying my diverse background to a truly historic project. This is the first major reservoir to be built in the UK in over 30 years, and I am part of the team responsible for telling its story—engaging the community, managing public relations, and ensuring transparent communication every step of the way. I thrive on bringing complex projects to life and building strong relationships, and I'm proud to do it as part of a collaborative team.
