About Amy Saavedra

you’re a Jack of all trades.” “you’re a walking encyclopedia.” “You have a lot of curious questions.” These are all statements (and or teases like the latter) that have been used to describe me throughout my educational and professional career. Being a generalist (or as one of my degrees fancifully puts it “Interdisciplinary” ) is the ability to learn about how different subject areas intertwine, using that knowledge for creative problem solving, and continually be open to learning new things. As a Project Manager/Business analyst for Black Diamond Funding I was able to be just that. Although not my intended career path, I never imagined the projects I have been a part of so far, would have led me to find a drive for a role that puts the puzzle pieces of a project together, and leads ideas into action. Below are some of the projects I have either been a part of or lead:• Nolij to OnBase Data Migration Project [assisted]• Salesforce Implementation Project [assisted]• Marketing Rebrand/Segmentation Implementation Project [Lead]• Nextiva VoIP Migration Project [Lead] These projects have helped me to continue to hone my problem-solving as well as my leadership skills and has pushed me to learn new ones (Currently pursuing PMP Certification). When I’m not learning something new, I love doing fun outdoor activities with my husband and dog Georgie. I love game nights and can get just a wee bit competitive with certain games (taboo, trivia, any kind of board game really). Finally, after living in Miami our whole lives my husband and I have gone on and adventure and recently moved to Omaha Nebraska! Reach out to me for anything project management, to get to know more about the person with all the curious questions, or If you’re in the Omaha area and would love to connect, I am always open to hearing from new people and having exciting new conversations!Professional Skillsets | Spanish: Native Oral Proficiency and Written Proficiency Software: Microsoft Office, Outlook (Adv), Word (Adv), Excel (Int), PowerPoint (Adv), Adobe (Adv).
