I love solving other people's problems. It was the pursuit of this love that led me to double major in Psychology and Anthropology and what led me to pivot to software engineering. I'm the type of person that if someone starts a sentence with "I wonder if.", I'm going to start looking for the answer. Before switching to a career in software development and engineering, I worked remotely in the transcription industry for a decade. While I don't use my college degree in a traditional sense, I find that the communication and conflict resolution skills I acquired come in handy working with clients, employers, and coworkers without the benefit of face-to-face communication.
