About Amy Sharp

I am a University of Nottingham graduate with a 2:1 in a Bachelor of Science with Hons in Biology. Having taken a broad range of modules, from those in Biological Photography and Imaging to Conservation Genetics, I often use science and the arts to highlight many environmental issues and interests. I also have experience in field work and lab studies due to assisting in many research programmes, such as investigating mimicry in Volucella bombylans.During my previous years in education, I was a WE ambassador with the aim of building schools in deprived areas of India. I participated and organised presentations where I spoke publicly to express the importance of equal opportunities and fundraising to directly help this issue. I am part of a women’s football team for the University of Nottingham, and this has improved my confidence when working with others. I also have a keen interest in videography and cinematography, and I communicate with clients to edit, film, and promote media content. I have successfully produced and promoted several music videos and advertisements for upcoming artists and buisnesses in the Nottinghamshire area.
