About Amy Shelden
I am in my 4th year as the theatre arts director at Trinity Academy! I love the performing arts and education and I am thrilled to share my love for both at this great school. Prior to Trinity, I served as a grant writer and events manager at Friends University for 3 years. I also worked as a grant writer, fundraising consultant, and teaching artist for Christian Performance Theatre (formerly CYT), an organization that shares my passion for performing arts education. I am completing a Master's degree in Directing through Roosevelt University in Chicago and love growing my skills as a performer, teacher, designer, and coach! In my free time, I enjoy playing piano and percussion, participating in community theatre, spending time with my family, and leading worship at my church.
