About Amy Shorter

Amy provides Vendor Project Management, and Clinical Project Management support for IQVIA on international, multi-center, high complexity clinical trials. She has experience in startup, maintenance, and closing studies. Currently the majority of Amy's time is as a Vendor Project Manger for a study in startup. Under startup Amy has been integral in setting up vendor agreements, creation of Purchase Orders and invoicing receipt. As the Vendor Manger, she works with 15 different vendors, and liaison's between Clinical and Vendors for a successful clinical trial. Amy also runs external teleconferences, in relation to this role. Under Clinical Project Management, her primary responsibilities include approving project invoices on behalf of the Project Leader or Project Integration Manager. She also creates and holds study purchase orders, reviewing those on a frequent basis to ensure adequate project funds. Amy previously worked as an clinical laboratory scientist ASCPcm for Saint Luke's Health System (as a generalist), and at CRL (Clinical Reference Laboratory) where she worked in the clinical trials department. Amy is proficient with the entire Microsoft suite (Excel, Project etc). Amy is additionally a PMA (project management analyst) Global Coach, and SME (Subject Matter Expert) in: Excel, MS Project, QPRM:PPM, EAC, and Veeva Vault (cTMF). She has presented trainings both within her role and cross functionally.
