About Amy Shred

Throughout my career I have involved myself in leadership and preceptorship courses and workshops to enable me to relish opportunities to be a proven leader, and enable myself to learn new skills. Our behaviour is a reflection on team culture - its how we do what we do - how values are upheld has been proven or disproven by behaviour. My professional career in a nutshell: I am a Seasoned Registered Nurse with Adult & Paediatric Emergency experience - with accreditation in resus and triage. I successfully completed high school and went straight in to study Nursing in 2009, and have continued to do so since whilst employed as a professional. I have completed a Diploma in Nursing, Bachelor in Nursing, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing. My intellectual curiosity has driven me to be a lifelong learner, so I applied and have been accepted via University of Melbourne to study Sexual Health, and Griffith University to study Master in Nursing (Emergency). Outside of work: I enjoy travelling, and training and competing my own horses. My nursing interests include Leadership, Emergency, Trauma, Disaster Management, Tactical Medicine, Aeromedical Retrievals, Humanitarian Aide and Relief, and Drug & Alcohol Management
