About Amy Simon

Amy Simon is the founder and President of Amy Simon College Consulting Inc, a full service college consulting firm. She is also the founder of SIMON Test Prep, which provides one-to-one ACT and SAT tutoring services. Amy and her team take students through all of the steps of the college application process-start to finish. This includes pre-college advising throughout high school, summer program advising, ACT or SAT tutoring, and the full college search, essay writing, and college application process. Amy is an experienced, intuitive college consultant who is committed to understanding each client's individual needs. A teacher, both by training and at heart, Amy's education background and love of students inspires her positive, student-centered approach. It is Amy's belief that the college application process should celebrate and highlight each student's academic, extra-curricular, and personal achievements, and create excitement regarding their potential and future. Amy has a meticulous, results-oriented philosophy and prides herself on offering every client the highest level of attention and service. She works with students with all types of needs, including students applying to both moderately and extremely selective public and private colleges and universities, students with learning, attention, and/or emotional challenges, students applying to fine, visual, and performing arts programs, and students seeking out every type of major and campus culture. Her mission, shared by the ASCC Team, is to help students gain the best-fit admissions opportunities and to make their application process genuinely enjoyable along the way.
