An appointed member of the Australian Government’s Modern Slavery Expert Group; the Law Council of Australia’s Business and Human Rights Committee; and the Law Society of NSW’s Human Rights Committee. Amy also holds an adjunct academic position at UNSW's Australian Human Rights Institute and is a regular public commentator on business and human rights issues and developments. Formerly a corporate lawyer, with ten years’ prior experience with major international legal practices in Australia, Hong Kong and London. Amy is a dual-qualified lawyer, Australia/ UK, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
