About Amy Small

My passion lies in helping those less fortunate around the globe gain access to things many of us take for granted; such as food, clothing, shelter and quality healthcare. My interest in healthcare took me into the radiology department for many years and then the radiology department showed me there was a picture much larger than I was seeing. Since then I have thrived on learning how systems work and how we can better apply the resources we have to enable access to all. My love of people has brought me around the world from the United States, to Ethiopia, Japan and beyond. I love to read books surrounding public health and self-development. When I am not reading, you can find me hiking, snorkeling or enjoying time with my children on our beautiful island that we call home.
