Amy has almost 20 years of corporate human resources experience across a number of diverse industries including healthcare, educational services, global plastics manufacturing and software/game development. She has been consistently responsible for partnering directly with CEOs and executive leaders to achieve intended talent and business results. Amy has 10 years’ experience working as a Course Facilitator and Instructor with eCornell and 2 years as Online Instructor for Cornell University ILR School’s EMHRM Program, Executive Master of Human Resource Management. Amy currently directs HR Operations for a software development and technology company that specializes in desktop customization software and cross-platform game development (PC, mobile and console) based in Plymouth, Michigan. This leadership position includes oversight of Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Administrative Services, Facilities and Legal Liaison. Amy holds a seat on the executive team and is solely responsible for driving HR initiatives and outcomes, with direct accountability to the CEO. Amy graduated from Wayne State University with a MA in Employment and Labor Relations and is professionally designated as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and is SHRM-SCP certified. Amy graduated with a BS in Human Resources with a Business Emphasis and a BA in Psychology from Michigan State University.
