About Amy Staraitis

I have been working in the mental health field for over six years, and I am currently a licensed counselor associate with LifeSprings mental health agency. I had completed my counseling internship at The Growth Center for Counseling and Wellness. My mission is to provide compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based counseling services to clients from diverse backgrounds and needs. I have a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University, and I am passionate about lifelong learning and professional development. At LifeSpring, I work with clients who struggle with various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. I use a client-centered, strengths-based, and integrative approach to help them heal and grow. I also collaborate with other counselors, supervisors, and community partners to ensure quality care and ethical practice. Some of the skills that I apply in my role are active listening, empathy, rapport-building, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, intervention, and evaluation.
