About Amy Thomas

An aspiring tax accountant, I am currently enrolled as a senior at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. During my time as a student, I strive to gain new skills to aid me in the pursuit of my goal. As of right now, I currently have an Associate’s in Accounting from Dallas College. From the experiences I have gained there, I have a solid understanding of accounting processes and an in-depth knowledge on excel and accounting software like QuickBooks. I have taken tax accounting courses on my own accord and so I am knowledgeable on tax reporting requirements and the preparation of tax returns on both an individual and corporate level. As a student I possess a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and I find myself excelling in collaborative situations both in person and online.
