I was blessed to be raised by a “village” of entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, activists and community leaders. A great Uncle played a pivotal royal in the Civil Rights Movement in St. Louis. I walked along side my grandmother as she stood up for religious and political causes in local parades. My son and I volunteered at the crisis nursery and children’s ministry founded by my parents in the city of St. Louis. My education allowed me to teach nutrition classes for women participating in the WIC program. I am convinced that dedication, drive, determination and a good work ethic are rooted in our upbringing and strengthened by our education, discipline and experience. My unique history and personal experiences have instilled in me an attitude of joy and a passion for growth. People. “You don’t build a business.
