Background
About Amy Young
Leading AimWild, my strength lies in steering for-purpose organisations and government bodies through the complexities of ecological restoration and strategic planning. Proficient in conservation management and project leadership, I've overseen national restoration initiatives and advised on sustainability strategies, all while fostering partnerships that strengthen our collective response to environmental challenges. With a background in Natural Resource Management and Project Management, and more recently Healthy Country Planning and Entrepreurship/New Business, I've honed skills in community engagement, environmental policy, planning and operations, infrastructure projects and working with diverse funding partners, expertise which has been instrumental in executing impactful conservation projects. My approach interweaves optimism with practicality, aiming to empower communities and sectors to be bold and creative in addressing climate change and biodiversity loss.
