I am a Director of Android Development for Engagement on RBC's digital property. I lead the team that launched an all new native investing experience for mobile. I was also a lead for an all new City National Bank app. Not only, do I mange, but I lead by coding architecture and reviewing code. My goal is to raise my teams software engineering skills, not just coding. Other projects include large features of the mobile banking app and mobile wallet. The wallet was very challenging because it was created before Google Pay and Apple Pay and was ground-breaking at the time. Before that, I worked at IBM with the top Canadian financial institutions RBC, BMO, TD and Scotiabank. The software solutions I deployed works with cash devices that reduce workloads for customer service representatives by automating the cash handling process. I gather the requirements and use them to create solutions through software and hardware.
