About Ana Amigable

As a Laboratory Director at SJ Health, I oversee the daily operations and quality assurance of our clinic laboratories. I am responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing laboratory staff and equipment, and improving laboratory efficiency and accuracy. I have more than four years of experience in the clinical laboratory field, working as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Adventist Health in Lodi, CA and at Sentara Healthcare in Norfolk, VA. I hold multiple certifications from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), including Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) and Technologist in Microbiology (ASCP-M). I also have a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Microbiology license from the California Department of Public Health. I completed my Master of Public Health degree from Old Dominion University in May 2022, with a focus on public health education and promotion. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to improve the health and well-being of communities and populations. I am also eager to continue to grow academically and professionally in an organization where I can make a significant impact.
