About Ana Denena

A seasoned energy professional with broad experience from both industry and public accounting across multiple sectors spanning over 30 years of management experience, transaction activity and special projects. Ana is a high energy, results oriented assurance partner focused on crafting practical approaches to business problems and co-creating business solutions with her clients. Ana has served a wide variety of domestic and multi-national private and public companies in energy, construction, manufacturing, distribution and real estate industries with a primary focus on the energy sector. Ana has deep energy expertise in all facets of the sector ranging from the well head to the burner tip (upstream, pipeline, storage, field service, marketing and trading, refining, oil field service, power generation, utilities and retail energy). From an upstream perspective, she has focused on both full cost and successful efforts independent organizations. Prior to joining RSM, Ana led the finance function for a downstream refining business unit of a large privately held company. Her expertise covers a range of areas including financial statement audits, internal controls over financial reporting, transaction carve-out audits, due diligence, merger, acquisition and divestiture activities as well as other accounting and advisory and consulting projects. Ana has served both domestic and internally publicly-held companies with reporting requirements to the SEC and aboard under IFRS requirements. In addition, she has led numerous initial public offering filings.
