About Ana Kroflic

In 2013, I finished the study of analytical chemistry on Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies, University of Ljubljana. During studying years, I spend one month every year working in industry Cinkarna Celje d.d, in analytical laboratory where I also performed my bachelor degree. I became a PhD student (Internation Postgraduate School Jožef Stefan) in Jožef Stefan Institute (Deparment of environmental sciences) in October 2013. My field of research was focused on determination of selenium and selenium compounds in aquatic and cultivated plants. For my work I mostly used ICP-MS and HPLC coupled to ICP-MS or I have many experiences with sample preparation (digestions). One part of my research work in JSI was dedicated to determination of trace elements in water, aquatic plants and sediments from agricultural areas. In April 2018 I finished my PhD. In May 2017 I started to work at Krka d.d, at position analyst in Laboratory for Quality Control.
