About Ana Pires

I currently work as a manager between client relationship support teams and operational teams, integrating client needs within the operational framework available. When these match, I interact with multiple teams in a daily basis within a multicultural environment. I fill in forms and tickets. I communicate with clients and follow-up with continuous feedback. I investigate issues disrupting business as usual. When there is no match, I participate in the development of new tools sharing valuable insights. I report blockages on efficiency. I suggest improvements in procedures to my direct line of management. However. how exactly did I get here? I started working part-time while studying management as a receptionist. Before I finished my bachelor's I was hired by Deloitte and started working after a short summer break, more than 5 years ago! I worked as an accounting analyst and got the chance to learn not only specific skills but also multiple transversal skills that shaped early on my professional behavior. I worked with Deloitte for one year and studied to complete my master's in taxation simultaneously (yes, my plate was full but I had the chance to meet wonderful people and develop time management skills). I enjoyed all my working experiences so far, each had its contribution and positive impact and each motivated me to pursue my goals and seek professional fulfillment. I am dynamic and positive, enjoy working as a team and contribute to the integration of new members. I love learning and the feel of growing and becoming a senior, go-to colleague. I am very detail oriented but I believe it is very helpful to always carry the big picture along. The future is always in the open and I am optimist.
