About Ana Y.

I design and implement impactful Recruitment & HR systems that help mission-driven organizations scale high-engagement, low-turnover teams. Over the past 7 years, I’ve led global hiring across 10+ countries, built people operations from the ground up, and created employee experiences that strengthen belonging and performance. From tech startups securing multi-million-dollar funding to conservation nonprofits protecting the planet, my work blends strategic people operations, inclusive hiring, and culture design. I’ve partnered with founders, executives, and cross-cultural teams to shape environments where the best people do their best work (and even look forward to Mondays!). Highlights from my journey- Scaling a global team from 30 to 60+ in under a year while redesigning hiring practices for diversity and speed- Building a recruitment function from scratch, from hiring rubrics to ATS redesign, for high-impact nonprofits- Consulting with organizations worldwide to align their talent strategies with their mission, values, and long-term goals. Outside of work, I find meaning in mindfulness and adventure. I’m happiest outdoors - hiking, swimming, or guiding Mindful Forest Bathing events (think "find enlightenment before the mosquitoes find you"). The natural world teaches me how to build teams that are resilient, balanced, and full of life
